The Simcoe Hall Vice-Presidential Staff Awards celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of staff members in the offices of the president, the Governing Council, and the Simcoe Hall vice-presidents.

These awards recognize an individual’s outstanding contributions to a Division, or to the broader University, that is ‘above and beyond’ their job description. All award recipients  will have had a significant impact on, or will have contributed to, the quality of ‘University Life’ for citizens of the University community either within their division or more broadly.

In addition, all award recipients are highly regarded by their colleagues for their professionalism, service orientation, team work and contribution to morale, or are viewed as an emerging leader by other staff or management, demonstrating significant potential to assume a more senior leadership role in the University and to contribute towards a positive and inclusive working environment.

We are delighted that both Helen Chang, Senior Research Analyst, Planning & Budget and Mike Munroe,  Associate Director, Campus Police Services, were honoured with a Simcoe Hall Vice-presidential Award this year.
