ITS staff receives Simcoe Hall Vice-President Award - Information Technology Services - University of Toronto

We are delighted to announce and congratulate the recipients of a 2024 Simcoe Hall Vice-Presidential (SVP) Staff Award. This award acknowledges and celebrates the outstanding contributions of staff who work in service of either the President’s Office, the Division of the Vice-President & Provost, a Vice-Presidential Division (where the Vice-President is a member of Simcoe Hall Vice-Presidents), or the Office of the Governing Council.

Recipients of an SVP Staff Award demonstrate outstanding leadership advancing the University’s mission and / or exceptional service to enhance the University experience for students, alumni, faculty members, librarians, and / or staff.

This year’s OREP recipients are:

  • Danita Seenarine, Food Service Worker, Food Services, Spaces & Experiences, University Operations & Real Estate Partnerships
  • Michael Somers, Associate Director, Project Management, University Planning, Design & Construction

Award recipients will receive a gift and will be invited to join the recipients of a 2023 SVP Staff Award at a celebratory luncheon with the Simcoe Hall Vice-Presidents later this month.
