Public Realm Observational Study at UTSG

Gehl Studio has been engaged to conduct a campus public realm observational study at five key moments throughout this year. The first study is taking place this week on February 6 and February 8. Please be advised that from 8 am - 8 pm student volunteers will be observing across ten zones on the St. George campus the mobility patterns and activities taking place in our outdoor spaces. Findings will be used to identify ways outdoor campus spaces can further support the campus community.   Read more

U of T ranked world’s most sustainable university for second year in a row

UofT News: Published: December 10, 2024 By Rahul Kalvapalle The University of Toronto has been ranked the most sustainable university in the world for the second consecutive year. The 2025 edition of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability, released this week by London-based Quacquarelli Symonds, placed U of T first overall out of more than 1,700 institutions across 95 countries. Wi-Fi comes to the Circle!

U of T's Landmark Project now features robust outdoor Wi-Fi access on a part of campus that had previously remained disconnected. Spanning the area around Front Campus and King’s College Circle this recent wireless network rollout is part of a larger, tri-campus initiative to continually upgrade and expand Wi-Fi coverage.
